TRAINING

Training Overview

Trauma Recovery/HAP works to increase the capacity for effective treatment of psychological trauma in under-served communities anywhere in the world.  We train clinicians in low-cost, on-site Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training workshops, other specialty training and an expanding online training curriculum. Our training programs are the only EMDR training by a non-profit based entirely on the EMDR manual and research of Dr. Francine Shapiro, Ph.D., originator and developer of EMDR therapy.

EMDR Trainings

Due to Covid-19 social distancing safety considerations, all on-site training will now be conducted as virtual on-line training until further notice.

Trauma is the most widespread and socially costly mental health issue worldwide. EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is an evidence-based therapy for trauma (PTSD). EMDR has also been used successfully to treat many other stress related conditions.

Basic EMDR Training Information

Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (Trauma Recovery/HAP) offers low cost basic EMDR training both on-site and in virtual, online classes for non-profit and public sector agencies.
